目标要求:

1. Master some new words and phrases.

Pioneer,spend...in doing something,photography,set an example...

2.Learn attributive clauses which use "who"and "whose".

 He was a great thinker he had many wise ideas and thoughts about nature and 

human behavior.

教学工具:

A tape recorder/Teaching pictures/PPT

教学步骤:

Step 1  Review(15minutes)

1.  介绍孔子,引出定语从句。(呈现孔子名言)

Have a competition in pairs.Hand some paper to every student,on the 

paper,there are some sentences on it.Ask them to translate these sentences 

into Chinese .

T:OK,let us look at your translations together.Group 1...

把搜集到的名言写在黑板上。They are :

Two heads are better than one.

The early birds catch the worm.

Love  me ,love my dog.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

T:Which is your favorite?Can you tell me?

引导学生总结引出        Confucious.

2. 老师展示孔子的图和孔子的讲学图,,进一步介绍孔子,引出定语从句。


Step 2 Presentation(10minutes)

1.以听力的形式呈现       1a 部分,找出介绍孔子的关键句。

T:We have talked about something about Confucious,do you want to know 

more about him?Now let us learn a dialog about him .Listen to the tape and 

find some key sentences about him.

2.学生跟读录音,进一步记忆关于孔子的关键句。

3. 让学生读出对话中孔子的一句名言,并翻译。

Step 3 Consolidation(10minutes)

1. 以对话的形式,对       1a 进行巩固,完成       1b.

学生听录音,模仿对话。

2. 以四人小组形式把有关孔子的知识以定语从句的形式展现出来。

Step 4 Practice 完成 1c 和 2.(5minutes)

(1) Group work

让学生快速阅读       1c,在小组内讨论并排序,完成           1c.

(2) 两人一组练习,找出文中难以理解的句子。

Step 5 Project(5minutes)

1. 通过对话表演,理解孔子及其名言。

2. 调查孔子在人类社会的影响力。
