               4) He needs  to think about what will  happen if he doesn’t  end  up as a 

               professional runner .

               5) My parents have always taught me how important it is to work at school 

               and enter university .

                  6) I think I should be allowed to make this choice myself .

           or should not be allowed to do .

             —I don’t agree .

           2) Role play the conversation.(1e)

           2. Revision “复习检查” 

           通过检查上节课布置的作业落实作业完成情况,进而为新课的导入铺路搭桥。

Ⅱ.感知       1. Learning tasks“示标定向” 

  体验       (1)学习并掌握新词汇:

           professional; enter;  support; choice; achieve; against;  possible; 

           blood; university;  believe;

           2. Leading-in“导入新课”

           (1) Activity 2a:

             Discuss the questions in your groups .

           Are you allowed to  make your own decisions at home? What kinds of 

           decisions?   Share the answers.

           (2) Look at the title of the passage. Answer “Yes” or “No”. Find 

           out how many in  your group agree with you. Then read the  passage. 

           Does your answer change?

Ⅲ.强化       1. 速读 (Fast Reading)

  巩固       Read quickly and find the answers to the questions:

           (1)What is Liu Yu’s hobby?

           (2)What does Liu Yu want to be when he grows up ?

           (3) Why do Liu Yu’s parents not allow Liu Yu to practice his hobby 

           at night?

           (4) Do you think Liu Yu should be allowed to practice his hobby as 

           much as he wants? Why or why not?

           2. 精读 (Intensive Reading)

Ⅳ.实践       Activity 2e: 
           1. Discuss the questions with a partner. Use the information in the

           3. With a partner, discuss some rules at home that you agree or 
             disagree with. Make some notes in the chart.

Ⅴ.总结        1. 引导学生小结梳理知识框架、规律、方法,并对合作小组当堂学习情况进

  反馈       行总结评价,巩固学生所获得的语言知识和经验,让学生在评价中反思,在反

           思中进步。

            Ask one of the students to say what they have learnt.

              2. 当堂检测(见学案):教师要随堂进行评价,批改可以由学习小组内互批、

                组间互批、集体订正等方法,批阅后教师要统计达标情况,收集反馈信息,
